マイケル・ユアン

I am the founder and maintainer of CNCF’s WasmEdge project, and the author of 6 books on software engineering. I am also a frequent conference speaker and tweets at @juntao on X. At WasmEdge, we are the first Wasm runtime to be integrated into the Docker + Wasm stack. We are currently focused on using Wasm as an abstraction and portability layer for AI / GPU applications. In this regard, I believe that Wasm can be the “write once run anywhere” runtime for the GPU era, and that fits well with Docker’s vision of application portability. I am previously a Java Champion before I switched to the Rust and Wasm tech stack. I live in Austin and have a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Texas at Autin.
