Last month, Docker turned five! In celebration of this milestone, we turned the spotlight on our amazing global community of customers, users, Community Leaders, Captains, mentors, partners and sponsors, and asked them to reflect on their Docker learning journey. Everyone came together to celebrate how far they had come, think about where they would like to go and take that next step towards reaching their goal.
We had a lot of fun during the #dockerbday with the Quebec #Docker community! Thanks to @ingeno for sponsoring the event, @tnazare for the cake and for being an awesome mentor! #dockerselfie #DockerQC pic.twitter.com/YZZNkWfWjq

If you did celebrate Docker’s 5th birthday with us last month we would like to say a massive thank you! We were blown away by the number of people who came together to celebrate and improve their Docker skillset. We had 115 community events spread over 6 continents where thousands of people of all levels and walks of life came together to work through new Docker labs, meet other Docker users, get some fun swag and of course, enjoy a slice of Docker birthday cake! Thank you to our Community Leaders who made these events possible and to the mentors and sponsors who helped give the attendees an experience to remember.

I think Mr. Ray M (63) who started his career with Fortran, should be the oldest among us to celebrate #dockerbday . He joined @DockerPenang celebrations and was able to complete #Docker 101 for Linux and Windows. Modernizing Old People #MOP 🙂 pic.twitter.com/9BizJgLyV4
