Ramesh Kumar

Ramesh Kumar is a Kubernetes Systems Architect based in Sacramento, CA, USA, building the next generation of cloud infrastructure. He has more than 25 years of experience designing and operating large-scale container platforms and distributed systems. He is passionate about containers, Docker and Kubernetes, and about helping engineers ship reliably at scale. He runs Q&A sessions and hands-on workshops for engineering communities, sharing Docker and Kubernetes best practices with thousands of engineers, students and new professionals. He is currently exploring agentic AI and the Model Context Protocol, with a focus on running AI agents and MCP servers in containers. Ramesh is a CNCF Ambassador and CNCF Kubestronaut, and he inspired the creation of the CNCF Kubestronaut program. He mentors engineers and students starting their journey in Docker, Kubernetes, cloud native and AI.
