Emna Ksontini

Emna Ksontini is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan-Flint, where she specializes in applying AI and intelligent search to software engineering, particularly in infrastructure as code, program repair, and source code refactoring. Emna completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Oakland University in winter 2024, where her research focused on detecting and refactoring technical debt in software containers. Emna earned the “Most Industry-Ready Research Award” at the NSF Industry-University Pervasive AI Conference. With hands-on industry experience, including a six-month research internship at Ford, Emna validated her research’s practical impact. Her research has been published in A* and A conferences, including the International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE), Mining Software Repositories (MSR), and the International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing (ICSOC).
