Michele is cofounder and President of Solliance, cofounder of PolicyServer (a joint venture with Solliance), a Microsoft Regional Director, Azure MVP and Docker Captain. Michele is a respected technology executive / thought leader, who builds high performance teams and infrastructure. As a founding partner of Solliance, Michele is core to leading the Solliance mission - bringing together elite talent, expertise and technology to empower companies to deliver truly innovative solutions to the problems of today and tomorrow. With over 25 years of experience Michele has held senior executive positions, assembled software development teams and implemented processes for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, and actively facilitated large-scale enterprise application deployments. Michele is a recognized expert in many fields including distributed systems architecture, microservices / cloud strategy and identity and access management – the latter, an area with very few deep technical experts. Today, Michele specializes in delivering cloud-enabled solutions at scale, cloud migration, security including identity, access management and compliance, and microservices platform strategy. Michele is an accomplished conference presenter and keynote speaker, has chaired many conferences and events, and has been published regularly in numerous technology journals. Michele’s wrote the best selling book Learning WCF (O’Reilly, 2007/2009), and Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions (Microsoft Press, 2015). During her career Michele has kept her deep technical knowledge current through engagements as a high-end architect consultant – serving the top 10 of the Fortune 500 as well as select startup ventures. In recent years, Michele has written code, led projects that closed vital new business for a startup and advised on high business impact technology decisions in a multinational setting. In 2009 Michele became a partner at BiTKOO – a software company delivering IAM software solutions to government and enterprise customers. Michele was instrumental in the design and implementation of standards-compliant products that generated significant revenue and led to the acquisition of BiTKOO by Dell (formerly Quest Software) in December 2011. Michele was also an early advisor to Auth0, acquired by Okta in 2021.
