Akaash Vishal Hazarika is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce, where he is part of a team that manages the company’s marketing databases. In his role, he manages and builds tools that help improve operational efficiency and oversees the development of products that prevent and mitigate operational failures.

Before Salesforce, Akaash was a Software Engineer at Splunk, where, as part of the UEBA team, he worked on building a product that helped customers get real-time behavioral analytics from their ingested logs. He has also worked at Amazon and Google before that.

Combining hands-on industry experience from top technology companies with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, Akaash is passionate about advancing engineering practices and enabling teams to innovate. He has recently published a book on building scalable infrastructure, helping developers build their services in cloud providers.
