Mahak Shah

Mahak Shah is a Senior Software Engineer at Splunk, currently leading the development of federated search capabilities to resolve international data residency and governance challenges. Her career is distinguished by a record of excellence, beginning as a University Gold Medalist during her undergraduate engineering studies.

Following this achievement, Mahak joined Samsung Research and Development, where she spearheaded IoT social networking modules and engineered automation tools that reduced manual testing efforts. She subsequently earned a Master’s in Computer Science from Columbia University, specializing in Machine Learning.

Prior to Splunk, she was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce, where she developed action-based pricing models and optimized analytics services. A published author and expert in backend infrastructure, Mahak leverages her elite academic background and industry expertise to advance the security and scalability of global cloud environments.
