Société Générale uses Docker Enterprise to Build a Container Platform and Migrate Applications to the Cloud

The 153-year old bank needed to accelerate innovation and cut costs by moving 80 percent of applications from its multiple data centers to the cloud by 2020.

Société Générale uses Docker Enterprise to build a container platform solution more flexible than the existing PaaS to support thousands of existing applications and develop new microservice-based ones.

15 months after Société Générale began the project, there are over 10 multi-tier applications in production and 50 more in development. The developers now use Docker Enterprise as part of a modern CI/CD workflow.
