    Ben Golub

    CEO

    Ben Golub is the CEO of Docker, a role he has held since April of 2013. Prior to Docker, Golub was CEO of Gluster, the open source, scale out storage company, which was successfully acquired by Red Hat in 2011. Before joining Gluster, Golub was CEO of social media pioneer Plaxo, which was acquired by Comcast in 2008. Golub also spent eight years at VeriSign, Inc., serving as Chief Marketing Officer, as Senior Vice President of the security and payments business, and as General Manager of VeriSign's managed security services business.

    Solomon Hykes

    CTO & Founder

    Solomon Hykes is the founder, CTO and chief architect of Docker and the creator of the Docker open source initiative. In his role at Docker, he is focused on building a platform for developers and system administrators to build, ship, run and orchestrate distributed applications. A Forbes 30 under 30 and YCombinator alumni, Solomon led dotCloud as CEO through five years of fundraising, business operations and product launches before focusing entirely on Docker. Prior to dotCloud, Solomon held engineering, IT infrastructure management and software development roles at CEIS and SmartJog.

    Mike Gupta

    CFO

    Mike Gupta is CFO of Docker. Prior to Docker, Mike was Twitter's SVP of Strategic Investments, responsible for running Twitter Ventures. Before taking on that role, he served as Twitter’s CFO and led the company through its initial public offering. Before joining Twitter, Mike was SVP Finance and Treasurer at Zynga where he ran several finance functions and prior to that, Mike spent eight years at Yahoo! in a variety of senior finance roles, most recently as SVP of Corporate Development, Finance and Treasury. Earlier in his career, Mike was a VP in the investment banking division at Merrill Lynch and a Senior Auditor at KPMG.

    Eric Bardin

    SVP Finance and Business Operations

    As SVP Finance and Business Operations for Docker, Eric focuses on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), expanding Docker’s corporate infrastructure, both domestically and overseas, and mergers and acquisitions. During his tenure at Docker, Eric has guided the company through four rounds of private financings, including the company’s initial seed round, and is responsible for building the company’s business and financial infrastructure. Prior to Docker, Eric held leadership roles at Prooftag and NuXo Technology, where he led the company to a successful acquisition. Before NuXo, Eric was first CFO and then CEO of Recif Technologies Inc. At Recif, Eric was instrumental in helping the company accelerate its growth and revenues, leading to a successful turnaround.

    In his role at Docker, Roger is responsible for developing, implementing and executing Docker’s sales growth strategies across all customer segments, and channels. Roger was previously VP of North American Channels and Mid-Market sales at Red Hat, where he built up a $500M line of business. Prior to joining Red Hat, Roger spent seventeen years at IBM where he held sales executive and senior management positions in North America and Latin America. He has served in leadership positions in Channel Sales, Financial Services Sector Sales, and IBM’s Systems Group.

    SVP Customer Success

    Iain is responsible for ensuring enterprise-class services, education, enablement and support for Docker customers and partners, defining best-practices and enabling customers to take full advantage of both the Docker platform and the surrounding ecosystem. Prior to Docker, Iain established Customer Success at Pivotal Inc. and served as VP of Red Hat’s Global Services and Global Support Services organizations, developing business critical services in support of Red Hat's open source subscription model. Prior to joining Red Hat, Iain held engineering and service management roles at Sun Microsystems and SCO Inc. in both the US & UK.

    In his role as SVP of Product Management, Scott is responsible for the strategy of Docker’s products and technologies. With over 25 years industry experience from software development and product marketing to IT operations and venture capital, Scott previously served as VP of marketing, product management, and strategy at Puppet Labs. Prior to Puppet Labs, Scott served in leadership and operational roles in product management, engineering, business development, and marketing for some of the most disruptive companies in the industry, including Netscape, Loudcloud (parent of Opsware), Cisco, and Sun Microsystems.

    SVP Marketing

    As the SVP of Marketing, David is responsible for orchestrating all marketing and communications activities for the Docker community and the enterprise market segment. In his role, David is focused on building awareness, communicating Docker’s value and driving customer demand. Prior to Docker, David was SVP of Marketing and Product Management at Xangati where he was responsible for directing the roadmap and market direction for Xangati’s product suite in addition to forging strategic partnerships with industry leaders. Prior to Xangati, David held product marketing and marketing communications executive positions for CoSine Communications and Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel Networks).

    VP Business Development & Technical Alliances

    In his role at Docker, Nick is responsible for building strategic partnerships with technical solutions providers, evaluating emerging technologies and ensuring Docker’s integration with key ecosystem partners. Prior to Docker, Nick held senior management engineering positions at Monitise Americas, Inc. and ClairMail. With a proven background in creating business development initiatives and strategies, Nick brings a wealth of industry experience in optimizing the route to market.
  • Marianna Tessel

    Marianna Tessel

    SVP Engineering

    Marianna runs the engineering organization at Docker, which actively contributes to the open source project and is also responsible for Docker’s commercial product offerings. Prior to Docker, she was a VP of engineering at VMware, where she led an engineering team developing various VMware vSphere subsystems as well as working with VMware’s tech ecosystem. Prior to VMware, Marianna was the VP of engineering for Ariba (now part of SAP). Before Ariba, Tessel was part of General Magic, starting there as an engineer and rising to vice president. Marianna holds a few technology patents.
