This Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales of Docker products and solutions within the ASEAN geographic territory.

This person will be responsible for delivering the overall sales quota for the region, through the effective leadership of the direct, partner and inside sales teams. The ASEAN Regional Sales Director will work to ensure that all aspects of the sales process including lead management, qualification, evaluation, close and account care are optimized. This person will be a key member of the ASEAN Sales Executive Team and will have the opportunity to influence and shape Docker’s significant expansion in Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the sales plans for the assigned territory and then meet and exceed quotas through the leadership of the ASEAN sales organization.
  • Lead the ASEAN sales organization to develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions through the sales pipeline
  • Ensure effective and accurate customer and transactional information in the Docker CRM system,in order to provide accurate forecasts and pipeline reporting to the Docker Executive Team
  • Understand the competitive market, be familiar with competing companies and their product suite and deliver relevant market intelligence back into Docker Group & Regional Marketing and Product Development,
  • Work with other members of the ASEAN Sales team to define the ASEAN regional sales strategy and drive the execution of that strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of successful enterprise software sales leadership experience within a complex sales environment, targeting FTSE 500 companies
  • Domain Experience within Open Source Software, Application Development tools, Cloud-based solutions
  • A sales leader and mentor who can demonstrate consistent overachievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written, team player
  • Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, "get it done” attitude
  • Must be willing to travel to clients to support sales relationships        
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalency
