Docker is looking for a Product Marketing professional to join the Enterprise Marketing team to establish scalable marketing practices and programs to support a global network of authorized Docker reseller, consulting and training partners. This position will establish a framework for scalable marketing, enablement and demand generation to nurture new partners and help scale business opportunities for mature partners. This role is critical to driving the success of the the Docker partner community and revenue.

Location:  San Francisco preferred, but flexible

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product marketing, partner sales and readiness to build a roadmap and partner marketing plan that supports overall Docker business goals
  • Work closely with product and solutions marketing to develop joint messaging, customer facing content, collateral, sales and pre-sales tools, enablement material and demand gen campaigns
  • Drive cross functional execution of multi-touch partner enablement with partner readiness team to support product launches, solutions, and other key initiatives  
  • Design and execute scalable programs to onboard new partners into marketing Docker with strategic incentives to drive behavior
  • Educate and support in field teams on leveraging tools and programs for partner specific marketing and business plans
  • Drive review and implementation of any required systems and processes to support the partner community and accelerate their success (i.e. newsletters, portals, etc)
  • Work closely with internal and partner cross functional teams to drive projects to completion and track results for ROI reporting
  • 25% travel expected

Qualifications:

  • Min 8-10 years experience in marketing enterprise software, virtualization or container technology or distributed applications
  • Proven track record of building and executing joint marketing plans with SI, MSP or VARs in enterprise technologies
  • Capable of adapting messaging and content into partner ready materials as well as recommending partner specific materials
  • Previous experience in product marketing, programs and/or partner marketing
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem solving skills required, with the ability to think strategically, execute tactically and analyze the marketing effectiveness (ROI)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational, program management skills to juggle multiple projects and requests
  • Creative and resourceful planner to design programs from scratch, gather feedback and adjust to the needs of the partners
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Marketo and Drupal preferred
